Frazier Hurricane Survivor! Chihuahua Senior Male for sale in Locust Fork, Alabama

Frazier Hurricane Survivor!'s story
He came to the high kill shelter on the winds of Hurricane Michael.  He came to us, Crossing Paths, in the arms of our rescues director, Mary Ellen.  She knew that, if he stayed there, he would be euthanized, and she couldnt let that happen.  Thats the way she is.  His name is Frazier; hes a Chihuahua weighing a slight 7.4 pounds.  Hes between 10 and 12 years old.  He has an old back injury that no one cared for in his past, and he has heart worm.  Due to his age, nothing can be done about his back, and the usual treatment for heart worm would be too rigorous for him to survive, so we are treating him with prevention which will take longer.
You might be wondering why we didnt let the high kill shelter just euthanize him considering his many problems.  Where shall I start? Granted, he is an old man dog, and he does have two major medical issues, but neither of them is causing him pain.  The only pain we see is in Fraziers eyes, and it stems from no lap to sit in, no love expressed, no friend to have.  Although Frazier will be okay with us, we cannot offer him that lap to the degree that he needs it.  His home will have to be a quiet one without children or other pets because he could be too easily knocked over.
Where are you, our true rescuer of rescues?  Are you there?  Into whose arms will we place Frazier, the dog that came on the winds of a hurricane?  (posted 11/11/18, ME)
